About the event
Join us for the Mother Pile Gathering, a community compost-building ceremony where we come together to create a living source of diversity. Through compost, story, and shared intention, we will build a pile that reflects the richness of both the natural world and the communities that care for it.
Participants are invited to bring a small contribution of clean compostable material from their homes, gardens, farms, or meaningful places. Leaves, garden trimmings, spent flowers, vegetable scraps, wood chips, and other organic materials are all welcome. During the gathering, we will also take a walk around the property to collect natural materials that will help increase the biodiversity of the pile.
No composting experience is required. All are welcome.
